Erin Desmond is an artist and somatic practitioner whose work centers shared embodied transformation. Working across photography, performance, installation, and material-based processes, she creates structured, repeatable frameworks that invite participation and generate movement from within.

Her practice engages the body as a subject and a system, using repetition, constraint and variation to create conditions where individual experience accumulates into collective presence. Through these relational encounters, she opes space for shifts in perception, memory and connection; where boundaries between self and other begin to soften and reorganize.

Erin received a BA in Art from UCLA, an MFA from Yale School of Art and completed studies in somatics at Somatic Experiencing International and the Ergos Institute. She has exhibited work at The Flag Art Foundation (New York), Diane Rosenstein Gallery (Los Angeles), Barcú (Bogata, Colombia) and Gallery Common (Tokyo, Japan), and has hosted workshops at The Music Center (Los Angeles), MIT (Cambridge, MA), UCR (Riverside, CA), Espacio Pinea (Rota, Spain) and Pieter Performance Space (Los Angeles). She lives and works in Venice, CA.
